JMN Halifax Mosque Rebuild – Phase 1 £800,000 Fund

Why We’re Rebuilding — and Why It Matters Now

For over 20 years, JMN Halifax has served as a place of prayer, learning and community life in Halifax, West Yorkshire.

Here, daily prayers are established, children are taught, families gather, and the wider community finds connection and support.

Over time, the building has aged, space has become limited, and the needs of our growing congregation have increased.

This Phase 1 project marks the beginning of the JMN Halifax mosque rebuild — ensuring that future generations in Halifax and across West Yorkshire continue to benefit from a purpose-built masjid and community facility for decades to come.

Now it is our turn to build for the next 20 years — and for the generations still to come.

From Where We Started — To What We’re Building

A purpose-built masjid designed to serve Halifax and the wider West Yorkshire community for generations to come.
